Virtual and hybrid summer event season
In May 2021, the first round of events returned to the venue. With restrictions on participant numbers still in place, our new studio is in very high demand since it opens the door to both virtual and hybrid meetings.
International congresses return
Following the World Congress of Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at the start of the month , this June will also see the Congress of the European Academy of Neurology take place at the venue as an online event. In July, the European Biophysics Conference plays out at the Austria Center Vienna in hybrid form this time round.

Esports premiere
Austria Center Vienna recently hosted the Red Bull Campus Clutch, its first-ever esports tournament, which took place as a hybrid event. The national final of the Global Valorant University Tournament represents a whole new digital direction for Austria’s largest conference and event centre. Like Spielefest, it adds an exciting new format for a younger target demographic.
