-Video surveillance

Video surveillance is in operation at the Austria Center Vienna, including in adjacent outdoor areas, our exhibition halls and our parking facilities (in particular the entrance and access areas, cash desks and ticket machines), for security purposes (protection of our property, as well as our staff, business partners, tenants and customers), to ensure we meet our responsibilities (fulfilling road safety obligations, contractual liability to customers, etc.), and for the purposes of preventing, restricting and clarifying any criminal behaviour. Video surveillance footage is encrypted and only analysed when necessary for the purposes defined above, if an incident falls within our area of responsibility.

Processing of personal data is based on our legitimate interest (among other interests the protection of our property) in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Video data are erased after 72 hours at the latest, pursuant to section 13 Datenschutzgesetz (Austrian Data Protection Act), provided that they are not required to fulfil the underlying purposes of protection or evidence in a specific case.

Data will not be transferred to recipients for them to process for their own purposes. Data will not be transferred to a recipient in a third country (outside the EU) or to an international organisation.

Under applicable law, you have, among others, the rights (under the conditions set out in applicable law): (i) to check whether and what kind of personal data we hold about you and to request copies of such data; (ii) to request rectification, supplementation or erasure of your personal data that is inaccurate or processed in non-compliance with applicable law; (iii) to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data; (iv) in certain circumstances to object to the processing of your personal data, or to withdraw consent previously granted for the processing; (v) to request data portability; (vi) to know the identities of third parties to whom your personal data are transferred, and (vii) to lodge a complaint with the competent authority.
