Finishing line in sight: the new centrepiece of the Austria Center Vienna will open in May

Our multipurpose entrance hall

Sustainable and at the digital cutting edge, in an ambience that sets everyone immediately at ease – these were the requirements for the redesign of the centrepiece on the entrance level (Level 0). The outcome takes us another step further on our digitalisation journey, with the addition of an attention-grabbing 310 m² LED branding area.

New glass-sided escalators take participants up to Level 1 where they will find an uninterrupted walk-along gallery. Whether the entrance hall below is being used as a registration, event or exhibition space – your participants will have a grandstand view, wherever they are on the gallery.

A treat for all the senses

New impact and mood lighting will ensure that your event is always cast in the perfect light. As an additional measure, all of the HVAC systems were converted to the technological state of the art.

Sustainable materials for outstanding acoustics

Halls E+F will be given a whole new look with high-end wood panelling, as well as an acoustic upgrade.

Lounge settings with an emphasis on flexibility

The lounge areas on Level 1 have also been completely redesigned: ready for action in May 2022, they are a key element of the fresh space concept and directly accessible from the main square via the new entrance building (Entrance 2).

Spacious foyer areas and high-spec meeting rooms also set the scene for exclusive event solutions.

Space to grow

Our gallery and the new-look lounges on Level 1 are now even more upwardly mobile thanks to an open ceiling installation. This creates more space and flexibility for settings of all kinds.
