The Annual Meeting of the German, Austrian and Swiss Societies for Hematology and Medical Oncology is the leading scientific congress for hematology and oncology in the German-speaking countries. Surrounded by contemporary architecture, just 7 minutes from the city centre and a few minutes’ walk from the Danube and the Donaupark. Austria’s largest conference centre has a total capacity for 20,000 delegates and offers 24 lecture rooms for between 100 and 4,320 participants, 180 meeting rooms and 22,000 m² of exhibition space.

The congress center offers 56,000 m² of event space across five levels, with a capacity of 500 to 23,122 people (public events: 21,162 PAX, non-public events: 23,122 PAX). A total of over 153 halls and rooms are available. The largest room is the ABC hall with 4,320 m².

The federal congress is the highest decision-making body of the trade union younion _ Die Daseinsgewerkschaft, which represents around 142,000 employees of Austrian cities and municipalities as well as workers in the arts, media, education and sport. Delegates from all over Austria adopt the union&#8217;s programme for the coming years, elect its leadership and discuss the future of public services with high-ranking guests from politics and the social partnership.

younion Bundeskongress 2026

Large-scale lecture of the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) for first-semester students. As part of the introduction to business administration, several thousand students receive an overview of the core concepts and foundations of business studies and are prepared for the start of their degree programme. Due to the large number of participants, the event is held in an external large-capacity hall.

WU Einführung in die Betriebswirtschaftslehre 2026

The EADV Congress is Europe&#8217;s largest scientific event in dermatology and venereology. More than 17,000 physicians, researchers and professionals from around the world gather to discuss the latest scientific advances, therapies and best practices in skin and sexual health. The programme includes plenary sessions, hands-on workshops, late-breaking abstracts, a large industry exhibition and dedicated formats for patient organisations and young professionals.
