The Austria Center Vienna has just landed a pair of new corporate events for 2016: this November will see the venue host the AMA Forum and the 2016 European SharePoint Conference for the first time. These acquisitions once again highlight the location’s attractiveness for get-togethers of this kind.

Outstanding IT infrastructure, an optimal setting, excellent flight links and a destination united in its overall approach: these were among the key arguments that led the organisers of the European SharePoint Conference to select Vienna and, specifically, the Austria Center Vienna as the destination for their 2016 events. From 14-17 November the venue will host one of the biggest events in the IT and telecoms sector, which will bring 1,500 international participants to the nation’s largest conference centre. In Managing Director Susanne Baumann-Söllner’s view, this decision comes as fresh confirmation of how highly international visitors value the centre’s high-performance WLAN, which has just earned it an INCON Global Digital Award for best-in-class digital infrastructure at meetings venues around the world.

AMA (Agrarmarkt Austria) was particularly impressed by the fact that the Austria Center Team is always prepared to go the extra mile. Representatives of the milk, meat and fruit industries will meet at the Austria Center Vienna on 24 November when the venue hosts the AMA Forum for the first time. The event will also present culinary innovations and future trends, with specialist seminars and industry exhibitions another highlight. Marketing manager Peter Hamedinger explains the thinking behind the choice of venue: “The Austria Center came across as having a contemporary ambience and being just the right size for us to stage an industry meeting that covers all product segments. It has the perfect choice of rooms for smaller groups as well as sufficient space for exhibitors and break-time discussions. Its central location, excellent public transport links and ample parking for visitors travelling from other parts of Austria were decisive factors for us.”
