Getting to the venue couldn’t be easier thanks to the city’s public transportation network. Traveling from the airport to the Austria Center Vienna takes just half an hour, and it’s only seven minutes from the venue to Stephansplatz in the heart of the old town. Drivers can also reach us easily thanks to our proximity to the A22 motorway, and we offer ample private on-site parking.

Planning your return journey to the city centre

Due to construction work, trains bound for Oberlaa will not stop at the Kaisermühlen VIC U1 underground station from 8 August to 30 November. To get from the Austria Center Vienna to the city centre, walk to the Donauinsel underground station and take the U1 in the direction of Oberlaa. The walk takes about 10 minutes.

Travelling by public transport-Getting to the venue from your hotel

Vienna has a comprehensive, fully-integrated public transport network consisting of five underground lines, 28 tram routes and more than 100 bus routes. Waiting times are very short – and as little as just 3-5 minutes at peak times. It takes just seven minutes to reach Stephansplatz from the Austria Center Vienna on the U1. Arriving by rail-Right on track

Vienna has excellent rail collections to all major European cities, especially with night trains. You can travel to the venue quickly and easily from the city’s stations using public transportation: Vienna Hauptbahnhof (U1 underground line – in 20 minutes, no changes), Westbahnhof (U3 to Stephansplatz then U1) and Praterstern (U1).

Barrier free-Barrier-free access at the ACV

All of the different event levels at the Austria Center Vienna have barrier-free lift access as well as disabled restroom facilities. There is a lift to take you directly from park decks 1 and 2 to the main entrance. A wayfinding system is in place to guide visually impaired visitors from the main square to the info desk. Travelling by car-Arrive relaxed

Austria has an excellent motorway and road network. To get to the Austria Center Vienna by car, take the A22 motorway and turn off at the Austria Center Vienna/VIC (Vienna International Center) exit. Alternatively, take the Reichsbrücke bridge or approach from Wagramer Strasse. There is ample private on-site parking in our garage and 10 electric charging stations.

Arriving by air-Perfect landing

You can choose between the following transfer options when travelling from the airport: The non-stop City Airport Train (CAT) service will take you to the centre of Vienna in 16 minutes, and it only takes 30 minutes on the standard rail service. The airport express bus takes around 30 minutes to reach the Austria Center Vienna. You can also reach us by taxi in 25 minutes.
