General The Austria Center Vienna is operated by Internationales Amtssitz- und Konferenzzentrum Wien, Aktiengesellschaft (IAKW-AG) which was jointly founded in 1971 by the Austrian Federal Government and Vienna City Council. IAKW-AG is an incorporated company which operates in accordance with normal commercial principles.
Since January 2003 Thomas Rupperti is CEO of the Austria Center Vienna.
Location Austria Center Vienna is located between the tower blocks of the Donau City district and the Vienna International Centre (U.N.), in the most modern part of Vienna.
Accessibility Underground station (U1 line) virtually on the doorstep. The ACV is just a 25 minutes’ drive from the airport on the A4 motorway, and it takes 15 minutes to reach the city centre via the Reichsbrücke bridge.
